Sponsorship Packages for the Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival 2009

 

For the past three years, the Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival has proved to be an excellent showcase for the island’s very special wildlife.  The fourth Arran Wildlife Festival will be held between the 13 and 20 of May 2009.  The organising committee is a sub committee of the Arran Natural History Society.

 

The committee has obtained grants from the: Argyll and the Islands Leader Programme – European Funding; Action for All – Lottery Grants for Local Groups; Scottish Natural Heritage; North Ayrshire Council; and Arran Natural History Society. To fund the festival in 2009 and future years as well as conservation projects on Arran, funds need to be raised.

 

This is where you could play a part.  For as little as £20 an individual can become a Friend of the Festival. In return for this financial support, among other benefits, friends gain free entry to a number of events.


Festival Friend

£20 to become a Friend of the Festival.

  • Individual Friend: Festival Pass gets you in free to all £2 walks and workshops.
  • Corporate Friend: Sponsor’s logo and link on website.
  • All Friends: Friends email newsletter with regular news and updates about the Festival and wildlife on Arran.

The Isle of Arran Wildlife Festival attracts hundreds of visitors each year and has contact with thousands more through publicity material.  A new website is being launched this year. A leaflet with the programme of events will be distributed island wide and through outlets on the mainland. In 2008 the Arran Wildlife Festival featured in several national magazines including RSPBs Birds Magazine, and on BBC Radio Scotland!

Sponsorship would enable your organisation to support the Arran Wildlife Festival and in return make the most of the publicity.

Event Provider

Run and provide staffing for a festival event and cover costs of event (recovering costs through event fees where appropriate).

  • Organisation logo on leaflet.
  • Organisation logo on website next to event and link on sponsorship page.
  • Organisation to be mentioned and thanked publicly at event and for media contact associated with specific event.
  • Opportunity to provide leaflets or display publicity material at event and in festival hub.
