On Thursday 8 October a group of five Whooper Swans were seen flying east over Kilmory.On Saturday 10 October four Whooper Swans were seen flying south from Blackwaterfoot and also on Saturday 10 October a group of four were seen flying along Cleat shore on the south of the island.

These are the first reports of this migratory swan species on Arran this autumn.
