On 6 October a Grey Plover was seen around midday on Blackwaterfoot shore just north of where the Black Water meets the sea. It was feeding on the tide line with Turnstones and Ringed Plover and gave good views from the railed footpath there.

This is the first Arran record since 25 October 2007.
